Quality Improvement (QI)

This is all about the continual actions we are taking to reduce adverse occurrences, to improve our care effectiveness, and to improve our service user experiences and their quality of life.

  • Workforce Training and Development: We rely on a competent workforce because we recognise the dynamic nature of health and social care and the need for our staff development to stay ahead of changes in the field of their practices. Continuous learning ensures that our staff are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to deliver high-quality, up-to-date care. Staff training and development enable continuous improvement to be made in the quality of care that we provide, and we devote significant resources to achieving this, year after year. Staff supervision and appraisals are routinely carried out as means of identifying and discussing staff support needs, and opportunities for their personal development and for giving constructive feedback to improve practice and the overall service provided.

  • Research and Development: Innovations, and new ways of doing things, based on research, are common in health and social care. Our industry is dynamic, and constantly evolving with new ideas and advancements in technologies and equipment. Therefore, to enable best practices and improvements in health and social care, we must be aware of and implement changes as they emerge. In our company, we have implemented innovative bespoke technological systems in our care practices to improve what we do, minimise errors, and be more responsive to changes. We follow current guidelines and best practices, implementing these as a way of effectively improving the quality of care.
